Texas Hancock Quarter Horses is located in San Angelo, Texas, and Artesia, New Mexico. Our goal is to provide horses with Hancock, Blue Valentine, Driftwood and Harlan foundation.  These quarterhorses have a sound, proven, solid breeding.      
      We also provide AMJR Mammoth Jackstock. Our mules are good, sturdy, hardworking animals that combine our quarterhorse breeding with our Mammoth Jackstock.      
       I grew up in south and west Texas with tough and hardy working horses. We couldn't afford much, as far as quality went, but there were a few good ones as well. Then I started seeing some horses bred for work and more! Much more!  After a lot of careful study, I started this small breeding operation.  I had to wait until retirement to get it off the ground, but over the years, I did a lot of research on horses and what was available.               
      Jerry Jeppson in Crowheart, Wyoming, had the Hancock bloodlines that I wanted.  I started there and I have not looked back since. Joe Hancock, Blue Valentine, Red Man, Roan Hancock, Leo, Blue Bonnet, Gooseberry and so forth have provided endless true and proven lines, as well as many legends.  These outstanding animals are the foundation upon which I built this business.       Hancock horses have proven bloodlines, build, strengh, ability and attitude. They have strong bones, exceptional minds and not a mean bone in thier bodies. They come to meet you in the pasture, gentle and ready for attention. They come with the ability to stay til the end of the day and leave ready for the next. They are depenable, strong, honest well bred horses. They come with the breeding that makes them what they are - Hancocks. That's what I was looking for.
